Egypt Ministry of Higher Education opens technical diploma transfer registration

The Ministry of Higher Education and Scientific Research has opened the second phase for technical diploma students to register transfer requests between colleges and institutes. This process, known as the ‘reduction of alienation’ phase, allows students from industrial, commercial, and agricultural technical schools to adjust their university placements based on admission rules and geographic distribution.

The electronic portal for submitting these requests is scheduled to close at 7:00 PM on Friday, September 25, 2026. The Ministry has advised students whose previous transfer requests were not approved not to resubmit the same request, as it indicates that the desired college or institute has reached its capacity according to established rules and percentages. Instead, students should select other available options.

To complete the process, students must visit the electronic coordination website, select the appropriate certificate type, and enter their seat number and secret code to access the transfer service.
