Egypt Ministry of Youth and Sports expands entrepreneurship partnerships
Egypt's Minister of Youth and Sports, Gawhar Nabil, has initiated several partnerships aimed at fostering entrepreneurship and economic empowerment for youth.
A memorandum of understanding was signed between the Ministry of Youth and Sports and the Small, Medium and Micro Enterprise Development Agency. This agreement focuses on promoting entrepreneurship, freelance work, and the establishment of startups. The partnership intends to utilize youth centers across various governorates as platforms for training, workshops, and hosting small projects in sports, service, and entertainment sectors. The collaboration will also provide financial and non-financial services, including guidance, consulting, and marketing support.
Additionally, Minister Nabil met with a delegation from the Arab Women Investors Union, led by Dr. Hoda Yassin. The discussions centered on enhancing cooperation to support youth projects, increasing sports investment, and promoting the role of women in the sports investment sector. The goal is to align with national strategies to support the private sector and achieve sustainable development through training and employment programs.
