Egypt national football team prepares for 2027 Africa Cup of Nations qualifiers

The Egypt national football team, led by coach Hossam Hassan, is preparing for its upcoming training camp and the start of the 2027 Africa Cup of Nations qualifiers. The camp is scheduled to run from September 17 to October 6 at the National Teams Center in 6th of October City.

Egypt will begin its qualifying campaign on September 25 against Angola in Cairo. Following this match, the team will travel via private aircraft to Juba on September 27 to face South Sudan on September 29 at the Juba National Stadium. The camp will conclude with a friendly match against South Africa on October 4 in Cairo.

Coach Hassan is expected to select a squad of approximately 26 players. The list of overseas professionals is expected to include key figures such as Mohamed Salah, Omar Marmoush, Mohamed Abdelmonem, Ibrahim Adel, Haitham Hassan, Hamza Karim, Hossam Abdelmaguid, Hamdi Fathi, and Rami Rabia.
