Egypt national football team prepares for Malawi qualifiers

The Egyptian national football team, led by head coach Hossam Hassan, is preparing for a November training camp ahead of two crucial matches against Malawi. These fixtures are part of the third and fourth rounds of the 2027 Africa Cup of Nations qualifiers.

Defender Mohamed Abdelmonem, who plays for the French club Nice, is expected to be included in the 25-player squad. The training camp is scheduled to begin on November 9 at the National Teams Center, with the official squad announcement expected on November 8.

The first match will take place at Cairo International Stadium on November 13, followed by the return leg at Bingu International Stadium on November 17. Egypt currently holds four points in the group standings, following a draw with Angola and a 5-0 victory over South Sudan, placing them at the top of the group on goal difference.
