Egypt National Railways announces train schedules for September 20

The Egyptian National Railways has released the operating schedules for various train services for Sunday, September 20, 2026. The schedule includes luxury Talgo Spanish trains, VIP services, sleeper trains, and standard ventilated or Russian-style trains operating on major routes.

On the Cairo-Alexandria line, Talgo services include train 2025 (departing Cairo at 8:00 AM), train 2023 (departing Cairo at 2:00 PM), and train 2027 (departing Cairo at 7:00 PM). Return services from Alexandria to Cairo include trains 2022, 2024, and 2026.

On the Cairo-Aswan route, Talgo train 2030 departs Cairo at 7:00 PM, arriving in Aswan the following morning, while train 2031 departs Aswan at 7:00 PM for Cairo. Other available services from Aswan to Cairo include several VIP trains (such as 2011, 981, 983, and 997), sleeper trains (87, 83, 1089, and 1087), and various ventilated or improved Spanish-style trains.
