Egypt National Railways announces train schedules for September 23, 2026

The Egyptian National Railways has released the operating schedules for various train services for Wednesday, September 23, 2026, focusing on high-speed and luxury options including Talgo, VIP, and sleeper trains.

On the Cairo-Alexandria route, Talgo services include train 2025 departing Cairo at 8:00 AM, train 2023 at 2:00 PM, and train 2027 at 7:00 PM. Return services from Alexandria to Cairo include trains 2022, 2024, and 2026.

For travel between Cairo and Aswan, the Talgo service 2030 departs Cairo at 7:00 PM, while train 2031 departs Aswan at 7:00 PM. Other available services on the Aswan-Cairo route include several VIP trains (such as 2011, 981, 983, and 997), sleeper trains (87, 83, 1089, and 1087), and various ventilated or Russian-style trains. These services aim to provide efficient travel to Upper Egypt provinces including Luxor, Qena, and Sohag.
