Egypt National Railways updates train schedules for major routes

The Egyptian Ministry of Transport and the Egyptian National Railways have released updated train schedules for various routes across the country, including services between Cairo, Alexandria, and Aswan.

On the Aswan to Cairo route, several service types are available, including VIP, Talgo, and sleeper trains. VIP services include departures such as train number 2011 at 05:15 and train number 981 at 05:30. Talgo services operate at 19:00, while sleeper trains offer cabin-style accommodations with meals. Other options include Spanish-style and Russian-style trains.

For the Cairo and Alexandria lines, a wide range of air-conditioned and Russian-style trains are scheduled. On the Cairo to Alexandria route, departures include train 903 at 06:00 and train 905 at 08:00. Conversely, the Alexandria to Cairo route features services such as train 902 at 06:00 and train 906 at 07:00. Many of these air-conditioned services require advance booking.
