Egypt offers expedited national ID card services

Egypt's Ministry of Interior has introduced several methods for citizens to obtain or renew national ID cards more efficiently. To reduce waiting times at civil registry offices, expedited services are available through VIP centers located in major shopping malls and at the Abbassia Civil Status headquarters.

Service speeds and costs vary based on the urgency of the request. An immediate issuance can be obtained via mobile units for approximately 800 EGP. Other options include receiving the card within two hours for 515 EGP, within 24 hours for 175 EGP, or within 15 days for the standard 50 EGP fee. Additionally, citizens can utilize the Ministry of Interior's website to process applications online, saving time and effort.
