Egypt opens 2026 admissions for nursing schools in Red Sea and Giza governorates

The health authorities in Egypt have opened applications for the 2026 intake of nursing schools in the Red Sea governorate and Giza. In the Red Sea, the Directorate of Health Services in Hurghada announced that the portal will accept submissions until 3 August 2026, with minimum score thresholds ranging from 240 to 260 points depending on the location. Applicants must be Egyptian citizens residing in the governorate, hold an intermediate school certificate, and meet language, health‑check and personal‑interview criteria.

In Giza, the local health directorate began manual collection of applications at each nursing school’s designated health centre or hospital. Eligibility mirrors the national rules: candidates must present their intermediate certificate from the same educational district and follow the prescribed documentation and deadlines. Both governorates will hold written exams in Arabic, English and computer skills, followed by medical examinations and personality assessments before final admission decisions are made.
