Egypt opens automated Burefoud court complex

Justice Minister Mahmoud Sharif inaugurated the new Burefoud court complex in the Port Said governorate. The facility brings together the Burefoud partial court, a family court, a family dispute settlement office, and the Burefoud prosecutor’s office, all housed in a single building on Al‑Muʿtasim Street opposite the Port Said University Club.

The complex is fully automated, with modern technology intended to speed up case handling and improve service for citizens. The opening is part of a broader plan to develop and digitise Egypt’s judicial infrastructure and enhance access to justice for residents of Burefoud and surrounding districts.
