Egypt opens third phase of university transfer applications

The Egyptian Ministry of Higher Education and Scientific Research has announced the opening of the third phase for reducing student displacement (transferring between colleges and institutes) for the 2026-2027 academic year. This opportunity is available to high school students, STEM school students, and Nile International School students who have not yet utilized the service in previous stages.

Students must submit transfer requests electronically through the official coordination website. The Ministry warned students against re-registering for requests that were previously rejected, noting that such rejections occur because there are no available vacancies in the requested colleges. Transfers are subject to geographic distribution rules and capacity limits.

Additionally, the Ministry is preparing to announce the results for students holding equivalent Arab and foreign certificates. Once results are released, students can access them via the electronic coordination portal using their seat numbers and secret codes. Students must also submit their official physical documents to designated university offices to complete the enrollment process.
