Egypt police locate missing bride found in Sohag
Security forces in Egypt's Gharbia Governorate have located 23-year-old Yasmin Bahaa El-Safty, who had disappeared shortly before her scheduled wedding. The young woman, a commerce graduate from the village of Kafr Dima, went missing while traveling to Tanta to complete wedding preparations, including visiting a beauty salon.
Following a report filed by her father at the Kafr El-Zayat police station, investigators used surveillance cameras to track her movements. The footage revealed that she had taken a microbus from a public transport station. After an intensive search by a criminal investigation team, she was found in the Sohag Governorate approximately 24 hours before her wedding was set to take place.
Authorities have notified the Public Prosecution, and investigations are ongoing to determine the specific circumstances surrounding her travel to Sohag.
