Egypt prepares for second Alamein International Air and Space Expo in 2026

Egypt's Air Force and Ministry of Civil Aviation held a press conference announcing the details of the second Alamein International Air and Space Exhibition (EIAS 2026). The event is scheduled for 8‑10 September 2026 in New Alamein City and will take place under the patronage of President Abdel Fattah el‑Sisi.

Officials highlighted the exhibition’s role as a platform for global aerospace companies, defense manufacturers, and space‑technology firms to showcase their products, promote investment, encourage innovation, and foster technology transfer. Air Force Commander Amr Sakr, Civil Aviation Minister Samah Al‑Hofni, and Egyptian Space Agency CEO Dr. Magdi Ismail emphasized Egypt’s growing regional and international standing as a host for major aerospace gatherings.

Organisers expect the expo to attract leading industry participants, open new cooperation avenues, and support the development of Egypt’s civil aviation and space sectors.
