Egypt Prime Minister issues 22 new decrees including citizenship revocations
Egyptian Prime Minister Mostafa Madbouly has issued 22 new decrees, according to the official gazette. Among these decisions are the revocation of Egyptian citizenship for three individuals for various reasons: one for acquiring foreign citizenship without prior permission, another for joining foreign military service without authorization, and a third for joining a foreign entity deemed to be working to undermine the state's social and economic system.
The decrees also include the allocation of state-owned land for service projects across several governorates. This includes land for the Egyptian Ambulance Authority in Beni Suef and Kafr El-Sheikh, as well as land for the Ministry of Endowments in Hurghada. Additional land allocations were made for planning, education, and Al-Azhar Al-Sharif in Beni Suef, Gharbia, and Minya, along with allocations for the Ministry of Interior in Qena and youth services in Sohag.
Separately, the Minister of Local Development and Environment, Manal Awad, announced the appointment of several heads of central departments and general managers within the ministry's general headquarters, following Prime Minister Madbouly's decree to fill leadership positions based on competence and experience.
