Organized by the Supreme Medical and Relief Committee of the Cabinet in cooperation with the ‘Dey Al-Khair’ Foundation for Humanitarian Work, the initiative took place on September 9 and 10 in Fanous village, Tamia center.
The medical mission aimed to provide free healthcare services to citizens in high-need rural areas. Over the two-day period, the convoy provided examinations and treatment for 1,582 citizens. This included 509 ophthalmology cases, resulting in the distribution of 180 medical glasses and the identification of 75 cases requiring eye surgery. Additionally, 1,073 patients were seen through general clinics, with 30 cases identified as needing surgical intervention. All prescribed medications were provided free of charge.
