Egypt publishes daily prayer times for Cairo and other provinces

The General Survey Authority announced the official prayer schedule for Egypt on Thursday 30 July 2026 and Friday 31 July 2026. The timetable covers Cairo, Alexandria, Tanta, Mansoura, Qena, Aswan, Sharm El‑Sheikh and other governorates, listing exact times for the five daily prayers.

For example, on 30 July the Dhuhr (noon) prayer in Cairo was set for 1:01 p.m., while the Maghrib (sunset) prayer was at 7:50 p.m. and the Isha (night) prayer at 9:17 p.m. Similar times were provided for each city, with slight variations reflecting local sunrise and sunset times. The announcement enables Muslims across Egypt to observe the prayers at the correct local times.

The same schedule was released for 31 July, with minor adjustments: Dhuhr in Cairo at 1:01 p.m., Maghrib at 7:49 p.m., Isha at 9:16 p.m., and comparable times for the other listed locations.
