Egypt releases Friday and Thursday prayer timetables for early August 2026

On Friday, 7 August 2026, Egypt’s General Authority of Survey published the five daily prayer times for Cairo and several governorates, including Alexandria, Mansoura, Qena, Aswan and Sharm El‑Sheikh. In Cairo the schedule lists Fajr at 04:40, Dhuhr at 13:01, Asr at 16:38, Maghrib at 19:44 and Isha at 21:10. Similar times are given for the other cities, with Fajr ranging from 04:35 to 04:51 and Isha from 20:53 to 21:10.

For Thursday, 6 August 2026, the authority also released Isha call‑to‑prayer times: 21:10 in Cairo, 21:19 in Alexandria, 20:48 in Aswan, 21:08 in Ismailia and comparable times for other provinces. The detailed timetables are intended to help Muslims observe the five obligatory prayers at the correct local times.
