Egypt reports multiple violent crimes in Shubra El Kheima and Alexandria
Several violent incidents have been reported across Egypt, involving domestic disputes and legal conflicts.
In Shubra El Kheima, authorities detained a man for four days following the murder of his wife. Investigations revealed that a verbal altercation escalated into a physical fight, during which the suspect struck the victim in the head with an iron hammer. The suspect allegedly attempted to conceal the body within their residence.
In Alexandria, two separate violent crimes have drawn significant attention. In the Sidi Bishr area, a lawyer is facing trial for the murder of her mother; the case involves the discovery of dismembered remains within the family home. The trial has been postponed to allow for legal procedures regarding the recusal of the court.
Additionally, in the Manshiya district of Alexandria, a man was arrested after allegedly killing his ex-wife during a meeting at a lawyer's office. The meeting, intended to discuss alimony and legal disputes, reportedly turned violent when the suspect attacked the woman with a white weapon. The lawyer involved was released after investigations cleared him of involvement.
