Egypt sends 261st humanitarian aid convoy to Gaza via Rafah

Egypt has dispatched its 261st humanitarian aid convoy, titled ‘Zad al-Izza’, into the Gaza Strip. The convoy, consisting of 50 trucks, entered through the secondary gate of the Rafah land port and moved toward the Kerem Shalom crossing.

The shipment includes significant quantities of food and humanitarian supplies, such as flour, fresh bread, legumes, canned goods, medicines, personal hygiene products, tents, clothing, and fuel. Before entering the Gaza Strip, the trucks undergo inspections by Israeli authorities.

Since the beginning of the conflict in Gaza, approximately 58,000 trucks have delivered over one million tons of humanitarian aid, relief supplies, ambulances, and fuel. These efforts have been supported by roughly 75,000 volunteers from the Egyptian Red Crescent.
