Egyptian authorities investigate two separate deaths of unidentified women

Security forces in Egypt are investigating two distinct incidents involving the discovery of unidentified female bodies.

In Alexandria, a woman's body was found floating in the sea near Camp Shezar beach. Preliminary examinations revealed the woman, likely in her 40s, had various injuries including cuts above her eyebrows, a wound on her lower lip, and bruises on her cheeks and body. Gold jewelry, including a necklace and a ring, was recovered at the scene. A witness reported seeing the body floating but did not see the woman enter the water or see anyone else nearby. Forensic experts are conducting autopsies to determine the cause and timing of death.

In Ismailia, residents of Ain Ghossein village discovered a woman's body floating in a canal near a local administrative building. River rescue teams recovered the body, which has been transported to a hospital morgue. Authorities are currently reviewing missing persons reports in the Fayid district and surrounding areas to identify the deceased and determine if criminal activity was involved.
