Egypt sees slight dip in dollar and euro rates, Saudi riyal stays below 14 pounds

Egyptian banks reported exchange‑rate movements for June 28‑29 2026. The US dollar eased to roughly 49.4 Egyptian pounds per dollar, with offers ranging from 49.27 to 49.55 E£ across institutions. The euro traded near 56.2 E£, with buying prices between 56.10 and 56.21 E£ and selling prices from 56.32 to 56.48 E£.

The Saudi riyal remained under 14 E£ in the local market, hovering between 13.06 and 13.22 E£ depending on the bank. The Central Bank of Egypt continued to monitor liquidity and foreign‑currency inflows while the overall market showed relative stability despite modest price shifts.
