Egyptian BRT announces 2026 student subscription rates

The Egyptian Bus Rapid Transit (BRT) company has released the pricing and subscription details for the 2026 academic year. These measures, supported by the Ministry of Transport, aim to provide affordable, smart, and sustainable mass transit options for students and the general public on the Ring Road.

Individual ticket prices are determined by the number of stations traveled: 5 EGP for 1–4 stations, 10 EGP for 5–9 stations, and 15 EGP for 10–14 stations.

Student subscription plans vary based on the number of stations and duration (3, 6, or 9 months). For example, a 3-month subscription for 4 stations costs 350 EGP, while a 9-month subscription for 30 stations costs 6,350 EGP.

To obtain a student subscription, applicants must visit the company's official website or request a form from station booking offices or the company's Facebook page. The completed and stamped form from the relevant educational institution must then be submitted at designated locations, such as the Alexandria Agricultural station or the Police Academy station.
