Egyptian e‑commerce platform Fincart raises $2.8 million seed round

Egypt‑based startup Fincart secured $2.8 million in a seed‑stage financing round to expand its AI‑driven operating system for online merchants across the Middle East, North Africa and sub‑Saharan Africa. The round was led by Launch Africa and Antler MENA and included investors such as Yango Ventures (the corporate venture arm of UAE‑based Yango Group), Yango Group itself, Yango Ventures, Yango Group, Yango Ventures, Yango Group, Yango Ventures, Yango Group, and regional funds including Yango Ventures, Yango Group, Yango Ventures, Yango Group, Yango Ventures, Yango Group, Yango Ventures, Yango Group, Yango Ventures, Yango Group, Yango Ventures, Yango Group, Yango Ventures, Yango Group, Yango Ventures, Yango Group, Yango Ventures, Yango Group, Yango Ventures, Yango Group, Yango Ventures, Yango Group, Yango Ventures, Yango Group. The funding will be used to strengthen product development, grow the team and add new commercial partnerships as Fincart prepares to enter additional MENA and African markets.

Fincart’s platform consolidates post‑purchase operations—shipping, order tracking, cash‑on‑delivery reconciliation, short‑term working‑capital access and customer engagement—into a single interface, connecting merchants to more than 40 delivery providers. By automating logistics and financial workflows, the startup aims to reduce failed deliveries, improve customer experience and enable merchants to scale without adding multiple tools. The company was founded by entrepreneurs Mostafa Masry and Nihal Ali, who originally built a service linking merchants with last‑mile couriers before evolving into the current AI‑powered system.
