Egyptian Education Ministry Oversees Second‑Round School Exams
The Ministry of Education in Egypt is monitoring the nationwide second‑round examinations for primary, preparatory and secondary students. In the Beni Suef governorate, the directorate announced the winners of the fifth edition of the national "Teacher of the Culture" competition—Ali Abdel Mawla, Taqwa Fathy, and Farag Mohamed—while simultaneously conducting field inspections of exam halls in the Nasser educational administration. Officials, including Dr Mahmoud Al‑Foli, deputy minister for Beni Suef, visited schools such as Al‑Shahid Mohamed Ragab Bakri and Al‑Shahid Anwar Al‑Sadat to verify procedural compliance and ensure a quiet, orderly environment for students.
In South Sinai, Dr Wafaa Reda, director of education for the southern sector, toured Al‑Nasr basic school in Tor Sinai on 19 July to check the conduct of the second‑round exams for transitional classes. She inspected the Arabic, English and computer tests, emphasized strict adherence to examination regulations, accurate grading and transparency, and coordinated with the school principal, Ali Samir. The exams, which began on 18 July and run through 22 July, cover all grades and subjects across the country, with the Ministry emphasizing equal opportunity and safety for all candidates.
