Egypt's Education Minister inspects schools in Halayeb and Shalateen

Egypt's Minister of Education and Technical Education, Mohamed Abdel Latif, conducted field visits to schools in the cities of Halayeb and Shalateen within the Red Sea Governorate. Accompanied by the Governor of the Red Sea, Dr. Walid Al-Barqi, the Minister inspected various educational stages, including kindergarten, primary, and secondary levels.

During the tour, the Minister evaluated student performance in core subjects such as Arabic and history, as well as literacy and numeracy skills among primary students. He specifically engaged with high school students regarding the programming and artificial intelligence curriculum to emphasize the importance of digital skills.

The visit also included meetings with tribal leaders in the Marsa Hamira area to discuss educational needs and suggestions for improving the school system. The Minister emphasized the ministry's commitment to identifying the actual requirements of schools to ensure development efforts are directed toward realistic priorities.
