Egyptian Exchange and MINT from EGBANK partner to support fintech

The Egyptian Exchange (EGX) and the MINT business accelerator from EGBANK have signed a memorandum of understanding to support Egypt’s fintech ecosystem. The partnership aims to enhance investment awareness among youth and entrepreneurs while providing startups with access to capital markets and growth opportunities.

The collaboration features two primary pillars: the ‘MINT × EGX’ hackathon and a series of specialized financial literacy training programs. The hackathon will focus on investment and trading tracks to encourage startups to develop innovative solutions for the capital market. Meanwhile, the training programs will provide specialized content to build financial capacity, promote financial independence, and encourage regulated investment practices.

The agreement was signed by Ibrahim Abaza, First Deputy CEO of EGBANK, and Omar Radwan, Chairman of the Egyptian Exchange, in the presence of Egypt’s Minister of Investment and Foreign Trade, Dr. Mohamed Farid Saleh.
