Egyptian football clubs kick off pre‑season camps ahead of new season

Al Masry SC concluded its Cairo training camp and moved to a third‑phase pre‑season camp in Ismailia, focusing on intensified fitness work and tactical preparation under head coach Emad El‑Nahas.

Al Ahly announced its first friendly of the preparation period, a match against Saudi side Al‑Nasr scheduled for 23 July at the Katara venue in Qatar. The game will give domestic and international players a chance to regain fitness after a rest period following the World Cup, with the national team members expected to rejoin training on 30 July. A second friendly against Laviena is planned for 30 July.
