Egyptian Foreign Minister holds BRICS summit meetings on regional stability

On the sidelines of the 18th BRICS Summit in New Delhi, Egyptian Foreign Minister Badr Abdelatty engaged in several high-level diplomatic meetings focused on regional stability and international cooperation.

Abdelatty met with Saudi Arabian Foreign Minister Prince Faisal bin Farhan Al Saud to discuss bilateral relations, institutional cooperation, and efforts to reduce regional escalation. During the meeting, Abdelatty reaffirmed Egypt’s solidarity with Saudi Arabia regarding its sovereignty and security.

Additionally, Abdelatty held discussions with the foreign ministers of China, Russia, Iran, Indonesia, Kazakhstan, and India. These talks centered on containing regional tensions, supporting the interests of the Global South, and advocating for a more balanced international system. The ministers emphasized the importance of maintaining international maritime security and ensuring the stability of global supply chains.
