Egyptian governorates launch school supply exhibitions with discounts

Governors in Egypt's Qalyubia and Sharqia governorates have inaugurated 'Ahlan Madaris' exhibitions to provide school supplies and essential goods at discounted prices ahead of the new academic year.

In Qalyubia, Governor Hossam Abdel Fattah opened the first exhibition in Shubra El Kheima. The event offers a variety of items including bags, stationery, school uniforms, and textbooks with discounts of up to 15%. Additionally, daily essential goods are available with price reductions ranging between 15% and 30%. The governor emphasized the need for strict monitoring to ensure quality and adherence to announced prices.

In Sharqia, Governor Hazem El Ashmouny launched an exhibition in Zagazig featuring discounts of 20% to 25% compared to market rates. The 200-square-meter venue provides school essentials such as shoes, bags, and uniforms, alongside food staples like rice, legumes, dairy, and meat. The initiative aims to alleviate economic burdens on low-income families.
