Egyptian governors highlight extensive public‑service efforts for Eid al‑Adha

The governor of Sharqia, Engineer Hazem Al‑Ashmouni, praised the coordinated work of executive, security and service agencies during the Eid al‑Adha holidays. Campaigns included street cleaning, removal of illegal constructions, continuous health‑care services, market price monitoring, food‑safety inspections, and support for vulnerable families, seniors and youth centres.

In Port Said, Governor Ibrahim Abu Limon directed similar intensive field operations. Teams cleared illegal encroachments, seized noisy equipment, upgraded road sections, and organized charitable activities for residents of a local elderly home. Officials from the youth and sports directorate, health directorate and police emphasized rapid response to complaints and the creation of a safe, festive atmosphere for the community.

Both governors stressed that the success of the holiday’s public‑service plan hinged on the joint effort of municipal authorities, civil society and the broader population.
