Egyptian Governors of Port Said and Suez Hold Open‑Door Sessions to Tackle Citizen Requests

The Governor of Port Said continued his weekly open‑door meetings, meeting residents together with the deputy governor, a senior military officer and heads of the technology service center. He distributed urgent financial, food and material aid, examined dozens of complaints, and gave directives to address the needs of people with disabilities, first‑care families, school staff contracts, market stalls, construction violations and civil‑society support.

The Governor of Suez convened a public forum in the Ataka district with local residents and representatives of housing unions. He reviewed ongoing infrastructure projects, announced the near‑completion of a new fire‑fighting point, studies for a bridge linking King Abdullah City with Ahmed Zewail City, and plans for an integrated service zone. He pledged swift study of all requests and further field visits to improve transport, lighting, health and recreational facilities.
