Egyptian Healthcare Chamber Announces New Training Programs and Investment Partnerships

The Egyptian Healthcare Chamber and the Private Hospitals Association held their monthly meeting, chaired by Dr. Alaa Abdel‑Majid, to outline a series of new training initiatives aimed at improving the skills of health‑care staff, including administrative, technical and digital competencies. The chamber plans to launch specialized courses covering digital transformation, marketing, smart‑hospital management and telemedicine, with the goal of raising service quality and competitiveness.

The meeting also focused on attracting private investment. A protocol of cooperation with the Holding Company for Water and Wastewater was reviewed, and the chamber intends to meet with the Minister of Investment and Foreign Trade to discuss activation of investment incentives for the health sector. Preparations are under way for the chamber’s annual conference, which will address universal health‑insurance, medical‑tourism promotion, smart‑hospital development and the role of AI in health‑care.

These steps are presented as part of a broader strategy to modernise Egypt’s health system, encourage private capital, and support innovative health‑tech solutions.
