Egyptian kickboxing athlete goes missing in Italy

The Egyptian Kickboxing Federation has reported the disappearance of 15-year-old athlete Mohamed Abdel Fattah following the conclusion of the World Junior and Youth Championships in Jesolo, Italy. The incident occurred while the national team was in the stands supporting a teammate during a final match. Abdel Fattah, a silver medalist in the tournament, reportedly told teammates he was going to the restroom but did not return.

Federation President Mohamed Sobih confirmed that the player's passport remains with the head of the delegation, and he left his luggage and personal belongings at the hotel. Official reports have been filed with the Egyptian Embassy in Italy, and the matter has been escalated to the Egyptian Ministry of Youth and Sports and relevant legal authorities to investigate the circumstances of his disappearance.

Despite the incident, the federation noted that the Egyptian team's overall performance remained successful, securing eight medals, including six silver and two bronze.
