On Monday, 13 July 2026, Egyptian banks listed the US dollar at roughly 49.8 EGP for buying and 50.0 EGP for selling, with most major banks (CBE, NBE, Banque Misr, CIB, etc.) showing little variation from the previous day, indicating a relatively balanced foreign‑exchange market.

The following day, 12‑13 July 2026, the euro was quoted around 56.6‑57.0 EGP across banks. The highest buying price recorded was 56.95 EGP (Bank of Alexandria), while the lowest selling price was about 57.15 EGP (Bank of Egypt). Central Bank of Egypt’s reference rates were 56.6877 EGP (buy) and 56.8526 EGP (sell). Analysts noted that the continued steadiness of both the dollar and euro rates provides a predictable environment for investors and traders monitoring Egypt’s currency market.
