Egyptian Military Academy Sets 2026 Entry Criteria and Application Dates

The Egyptian Armed Forces have released detailed admission requirements for the 2026 intake across several military colleges, including the Naval College and the War College. Eligibility is limited to Egyptian citizens whose parents also hold Egyptian nationality. Age limits are 21 for naval candidates and 24 for war college applicants. Applicants must hold a high‑school diploma (or equivalent) or a university degree, with minimum scores of 65% for scientific streams and 70% for arts. Physical standards include a minimum height of 170 cm for men, proficiency in swimming for naval students, and a confidence‑jump test from a 7.5‑metre height for male naval candidates. Candidates must have good moral conduct, be unmarried, and have no criminal record or foreign citizenship.

Application windows open in early July for 2025 high‑school graduates, with registration through an electronic portal, followed by document submission and aptitude testing in July‑August. For 2026 graduates, registration begins after results are released and runs until late August, with subsequent document handling and testing extending into September. Selection involves aptitude and psychological tests, medical examinations, physical fitness assessments, interviews, and, for naval aspirants, the confidence‑jump test. Study programs span four years for the Naval College and two years for specialized officer tracks, awarding bachelor's degrees in military science and related fields.
