Egyptian Ministry launches trainee teacher program in Japanese‑style schools

The Egyptian Ministry of Education announced that applications are open for a teacher‑trainee position in the network of Egyptian Japanese schools. The recruitment window runs from 2 August 2026 for 15 days, after which candidates must apply online via the ministry’s portal.

The programme targets recent university graduates aged 21‑23 and offers a training period of one to two academic years based on Japanese educational philosophy. Selected trainees will receive practical classroom experience combined with continuous academic and technical support. Selection will be based on rigorous technical and personal assessments that evaluate professional competence, motivation and creative ability.

The initiative aims to strengthen the pool of young educators and modernise teaching practices in line with the ministry’s goal of building a highly qualified teaching workforce.
