Egyptian National Railways announces new train services and schedules

The Egyptian National Railways has announced several updates regarding train services and schedules to enhance passenger experience.

Additional third-class dynamic ventilation trains will operate on the Cairo, Alexandria, and Al Hammam routes on specific dates in October 2026. These include extra trips between Cairo and Alexandria on October 10, and between Al Hammam and Cairo on October 11. Further additional services are scheduled for October 24, connecting Cairo to Al Hammam and Alexandria to Cairo.

Additionally, the authority has released the schedule for the luxury Spanish Talgo trains. On the Cairo-Alexandria line, services run at various intervals throughout the morning, afternoon, and evening. On the Cairo-Aswan route, Talgo trains provide daily service, stopping at stations including Giza, Minya, Assiut, Sohag, Qena, Luxor, Edfu, and Kom Ombo before reaching Aswan.
