Egyptian National Railways announces special and adjusted train schedules

The Egyptian National Railways (ENR) has announced the operation of several special train trips to serve increasing passenger demand, particularly for travel to and from Tanta on October 22 and 23, 2026. These special services include dynamic ventilation trains connecting Cairo, Tanta, Alexandria, Zagazig, and Mansoura.

Additionally, the Ministry of Transport has implemented schedule adjustments for air-conditioned and Russian-style trains across the Delta and Upper Egypt lines. This includes various services running between Cairo and Alexandria, requiring advance booking for certain routes. Some trains that typically do not operate on Fridays will see exceptional service to accommodate travelers.
