Egyptian National Railways announces Talgo luxury train schedules and fares

The Egyptian National Railways (ENR) released the operating timetable for its Talgo luxury train on the Cairo‑Alexandria and Cairo‑Aswan corridors. On the Cairo‑Alexandria line, Talgo trains 2025, 2023 and 2027 depart at 08:00, 14:00 and 19:00 respectively, arriving at 10:30, 16:30 and 21:30. On the Cairo‑Aswan line, trains 2030 and 2031 run nightly, leaving Cairo at 19:00 and arriving in Aswan at 06:40, and the reverse service leaves Aswan at 19:00 arriving in Cairo at 06:50. First‑class tickets are priced at 400 LE for the short route and 1,000 LE for the longer Aswan service; second‑class tickets cost 275 LE and 750 LE respectively.

In addition, ENR listed schedules for VIP, sleeper, Russian, Spanish‑modified and other services from Aswan to Cairo, with departure times ranging from 04:30 to 23:20 and ticket categories in first and second class. The announcements aim to improve travel comfort and reduce journey times across the country.
