Egyptian National Railways announces train schedules for August 19

The Egyptian National Railways has released the operating schedules for various train services for Wednesday, August 19, 2026. The schedule includes luxury Talgo Spanish trains, VIP services, sleeper trains, and standard ventilated or Russian-style trains operating on major routes such as Cairo-Alexandria and Cairo-Aswan.

On the Cairo-Alexandria line, Talgo services include departures at 8:00 AM, 2:00 PM, and 7:00 PM from Cairo. On the Cairo-Aswan route, the Talgo service departs Cairo at 7:00 PM and arrives in Aswan at 6:40 AM the following day. The Aswan-Cairo route also features several VIP options, including departures at 5:15 AM, 5:30 AM, 7:30 AM, and 8:45 PM.

Additional services from Aswan to Cairo include sleeper trains with cabin accommodations and various ventilated or upgraded Spanish-style trains. These services aim to provide diverse travel options ranging from high-end luxury to standard regional transport.
