Egyptian National Railways announces train schedules for September 29

The Egyptian National Railways has released the operating schedules for various train services for Tuesday, September 29, 2026, focusing on high-speed and luxury options such as the Spanish Talgo trains, VIP services, and sleeper trains.

On the Cairo-Alexandria route, Talgo services include departures from Cairo at 8:00 AM, 2:00 PM, and 7:00 PM, with return trips from Alexandria at 2:00 PM, 6:50 PM, and 7:00 PM.

For travel between Cairo and Aswan, the Talgo service operates daily with departures from Cairo at 7:00 PM and from Aswan at 7:00 PM. Other available services on the Aswan-Cairo route include several VIP trains, sleeper trains with cabin options, and various ventilated or upgraded Spanish models. These services aim to provide faster travel with fewer station stops for passengers traveling to Upper Egypt provinces such as Luxor, Qena, and Sohag.
