Egyptian National Railways publishes May 2026 train timetables

The Egyptian National Railways released detailed schedules for air‑conditioned, VIP, Russian‑type, Talgo and sleeper trains operating on both the north‑south (Cairo‑Alexandria, Cairo‑Aswan) and south‑bound routes. The timetables, issued on 29‑30 May 2026, list departure times for each service, many running throughout the day and night, and cover connections to major cities such as Alexandria, Aswan, Asyut, Sohag and Luxor.

Passengers are urged to book tickets in advance and to follow the safety instructions printed on the tickets. The announcements aim to manage the high travel demand during the Eid al‑Adha holiday period and to ensure smooth train operations across the network.
