Egyptian National Railways publishes Talgo luxury train timetables

The Egyptian National Railways announced the operating schedule for its Talgo high‑speed luxury trains on the Cairo‑Aswan and Cairo‑Alexandria routes. On the Cairo‑Alexandria line, Talgo trains 2025, 2023 and 2027 depart Cairo at 08:00, 14:00 and 19:00 respectively, arriving in Alexandria around 10:30‑21:30. Return services from Alexandria (trains 2022, 2024, 2026) leave at 07:00, 14:00 and 18:50, reaching Cairo in the late afternoon or evening. On the Cairo‑Aswan line, train 2030 departs Cairo at 19:00 arriving in Aswan early the next morning, while train 2031 runs the opposite direction on the same schedule.

Additional VIP, sleeper and other international‑style services were also listed, with departure times ranging from early morning to late night for routes between Aswan, Cairo and Alexandria. Ticket classes include first and second tiers for the Talgo and VIP trains, and cabin‑style sleeper cars offering meals and bedding.
