Egyptian National Railways Restores Mahram Bick–Borg Al‑Arab Train Service

The National Railways Authority of Egypt announced the resumption of two passenger trains, numbers 4222 and 4223, on the Mahram Bick ↔ Borg Al‑Arab line. Service will restart on Tuesday, 23 June 2026. Train 4222 departs Mahram Bick at 06:20 and arrives at Borg Al‑Arab New Station at 07:50, stopping at several intermediate stations. Train 4223 departs Borg Al‑Arab New Station at 10:10 and reaches Mahram Bick at 11:40, following a symmetrical schedule.

The authority highlighted that the reinstated service aims to meet passenger demand and support the upcoming summer travel season, emphasizing its commitment to improving comfort and reliability across the rail network.
