Egyptian National Railways updates train schedules and Talgo service prices

The Egyptian National Railways has announced updated operating schedules for its luxury Spanish Talgo trains and various air-conditioned and Russian-style trains across the Cairo-Alexandria and Cairo-Aswan lines.

For the Talgo service, schedules include multiple departures between Cairo and Alexandria, as well as the Cairo-Aswan route. On the Cairo-Aswan line, train 2030 departs Cairo at 7:00 PM, while train 2031 departs Aswan at 7:00 PM. Ticket prices for Talgo services vary by destination and class, with first-class tickets to Aswan priced at 1,000 EGP and second-class at 750 EGP.

Additionally, the Ministry of Transport has implemented adjusted schedules for air-conditioned and Russian-style trains serving the Delta and Upper Egypt regions. These services connect Cairo to various governorates, including frequent departures on the Cairo-Alexandria route throughout the day.
