Egyptian National Railways updates Upper Egypt train schedules

The Egyptian National Railways has released updated train schedules for routes connecting Cairo and Giza to Upper Egypt provinces, including Assiut, Sohag, Qena, Luxor, and Aswan.

Travel options include luxury Talgo trains, VIP services, sleeper trains, and various classes of Russian-made trains (including air-conditioned and dynamic ventilation models). For passengers traveling from Aswan to Cairo, VIP and Talgo services are noted for their speed and fewer station stops. Sleeper trains offer cabin systems with two beds and included meals. Specific routes also connect Aswan to Alexandria.
