Egyptian PM Madbouly pushes Sisi’s digital transformation plan
Egyptian Prime Minister Mustafa Madbouly chaired a meeting with the ministers of finance, communications and information technology, investment, justice, planning and other senior officials to review progress on President Abdel Fattah al‑Sisi’s directives to expand digital transformation across state institutions.
The discussion focused on protecting public funds, improving institutional efficiency, and developing a secure digital infrastructure that links government databases, automates high‑impact services and supports data‑driven decision‑making. Dedicated work groups have been tasked with implementing the plan according to timelines associated with the inauguration of the strategic command headquarters in the new administrative capital.
