Egyptian pound stabilizes as US dollar and euro rates hold steady at banks

The US dollar remained steady against the Egyptian pound in bank transactions on Sunday 14 June 2026, with the Central Bank of Egypt quoting 51.92 EGP for buying and 52.06 EGP for selling. Major commercial banks listed similar rates, generally ranging from 51.83 EGP to 52.26 EGP.

The euro also showed little movement, with the Central Bank posting 59.91 EGP for buying and 60.03 EGP for selling. Other banks reported euro rates between 58.84 EGP and 60.32 EGP, confirming overall stability in the foreign‑exchange market during the day.
