Egyptian President Sisi Hosts Bahrain's King Hamad in Al‑Ain, Emphasizes Security Cooperation

President Abdel Fattah al‑Sisi received King Hamad bin Isa Al Khalifa of Bahrain at Al‑Ain International Airport and later at the presidential palace in Al‑Ain. The leaders held a bilateral meeting that covered the deepening of economic, trade and investment ties, as well as intensified strategic coordination.

Egypt reiterated its support for Bahrain’s security, condemning recent Iranian attacks on the kingdom and stating that Bahrain’s security is an integral part of Egypt’s national security. The discussion also touched on regional issues, including the need to implement a cease‑fire in Gaza, ensure unhindered humanitarian aid, and pursue broader stability in the Middle East. King Hamad expressed solidarity with Egypt following a recent earthquake, underscoring the close brotherly relationship between the two states.
