For example, Talgo train 2025 leaves Cairo at 08:00 and arrives in Alexandria at 10:30, while train 2030 departs Cairo at 19:00 for Aswan, arriving the next morning at 06:40.
In addition, the schedule lists a range of air‑conditioned and Russian‑operated trains on both the northern (Cairo‑Alexandria) and southern (Cairo‑Aswan) lines, covering departures from early morning to late evening. Ticket categories include VIP, sleeping cabins and standard AC services, with prices ranging from 275 EGP for second‑class seats on short trips to 1,000 EGP for first‑class seats on the Aswan‑Cairo route.
